At Arco, we believe in giving back to society by supporting causes that resonate with our culture and values, particularly those that empower children and students to reach their full potential. Our commitment to social responsibility extends beyond financial investments, as we actively seek to make a positive impact on global communities. Each year, the Group sets aside a dedicated global budget to match staff donations to international charities, ensuring our collective efforts create meaningful change for specific causes.
Over the years, we have contributed to critical relief and recovery efforts for major global crises. These include supporting the fight against Ebola, providing aid for Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines, assisting in the aftermath of the tsunami in Japan, and contributing to rebuilding efforts following the Sichuan earthquake in China. We have funded research into neuroendocrine tumors, reflecting our commitment to advancing health and well-being. By uniting as an organization, we strive to make a difference where it matters most, reinforcing our belief that businesses can and should be a force for good.
We make donations to various local charities such as the Alzheimer’s Society and Brainwave initiative in the UK and the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies in different locations.
